This class is a great day out for cake decorators of all levels - from the complete novice to those wanting to refine their skills. You will need to bring your own 7" round (17.5cm) cake (recipe supplied) and you will be shown how to split, level and coat your cake with ganache. After that, you will cover your cake with fondant icing to create a smooth, sharp finish. In the afternoon you will finish your design with some simple cut-outs and a hand-made fondant elephant.
Note: If you do not have a 7" tin then please contact me for recommended local suppliers where you can purchase or hire tins. Alternatively, if you would rather I take care of the baking for you, I can arrange this at an additional charge of $25 - please comment accordingly in the notes at checkout, payment collected at the start of the class.
