As with all aspects of your wedding cake, the covering comes down to your own preference and style.
Personally, Im not fondants biggest fan but I love frosting so, if I were to marry my gorgeous husband all over again, this is what I would choose. I also love the informality of frosting, its very nature ties in beautifully with the vintage themes that are so popular at the moment and I think there is nothing prettier than a frosted cake with beautiful ribbon, adorned with fresh flowers just stunning!
